Vechain had some of the biggest news in crypto today and maybe since bitcoin futures were announced and here is why. Vechain announced their partnership with the Chinese government. They will be collaborating in building the first "smart town". I have been involved in $VEN for almost a month now since 11/20 and have been accumulating. Why did I do this? The team has been extremely active over the last few months even ramping up marketing. They said they were announcing some major exchange listings in December, a fork, re branding, and many partnership announcements that were lined up for Late December -January. They also released information of a modified whitepaper describing different types of masternodes. They have some serious players on their development team from the retail world and there is rumor of a retail partnership. There is also rumor that this town in China that is trying to be converted to a smart town is trying to turn that into China's Silicon Valley. It has been steadily climbing the ranks of the top 100 on coinmarketcap.com and after today's news, if you take a look at the chart it looks like some strong manipulation to keep price under 9/10k satoshis. It starts trading on Huobi exchange in a few hours and I don't think the price will be kept down too much longer. I strongly believe with all the fundamentals considered, sitting at a total market cap of $500mm ,$VEN has potential to have $1-5 Billion market cap by the end of January.
