Just a short article today, but early I came across a new video tool from the developers behind snip.ly that allows you to take any of your blog posts from any source, Wordpress, Medium or of course Steemit and paste them in.
Introducing Lumen5.

To begin, sign up at http://lumen5.com and create an account then activate your email (you know the score).
Once activated go to the website and it will prompt you to paste the URL of a post, so take the URL from your latest Steemit post and add that then hit the create button.
The next step is to select the parts of the text you want to take from your article and add as video scenes.
Once your text scenes have been created you can begin to add media in the form of images and videos detected in your article, videos and images that are relevant from Lumen's media library of stock footage and photography and also upload additional images to be used within your scenes as backgrounds or elements.
Finally, you can adjust the music, color scheme and branding by adding your logo or watermark.
This is a really great way to tell or a story or explain something to your audience and a new tool I have only just used for the first time.
Once this post is published I will try and quickly create a version of this article using Lumen5 and will then add it to this post as an example.
Without further ado, here is the video.
What do you think? Is this a smart way to share your stories in a video?
