Every year i have a habit of putting some scenes together into a showreel, however last year i didn't do much video work as i was still getting to grips with my new camera the URSA Mini which shoots in raw and has pretty much all the bells and whistles. Only drawback is i'm not used to carrying a camera so big around but that's something i'll just have to live with.
Ive started working on this years showreel already and it's going to be in 4K.
Here is an older showreel i put together, its in black and white as i shot all of this on a canon 5D mk3 and colour grading DSLR footage is a pain especially when matching different shoots together so i ended up making this black and white. My next showreel will be in colour as the camera i'm shooting on now shoots in pro res 444 so i can pretty much grade the hell out of anything now.
Here is to another year full of filming :)
