Well the Bitcoin Gold fork came and went and it was a non event in the end with the big players getting out of Bitcoin a few days early after they learnt that Bitcoin Gold had already held a private fork.
There were also various other technical issues with Bitcoin Gold that caused FUD and the price has since crunched 60% which is not unusual.
Will we see the same non event for Bitcoin Silver in December? I would say yes.
However, the same can't be said about Segwitx2 as I feel this fork will cause a big run in BTC leading up to tehe 18th November.
Will it be as dynamic as August 1st and Bitcoin Cash?
I feel it could very well be as there is a lot of support fro both Segwitx2 and the original legacy Bitcoin.
With Segwitx2 forecasting to be valued at approx. 1K USD there will no doubt be a run for these free positions.
What do I see happening over the next two months?
Starting today, 26th October 2017, which is today, I feel Bitcoin will start its new bull run leading into November where the news of Amazon possibly accepting Bitcoin may unfold and the energy of the Segwitx2 fork will see a surge.
On the 18th November if all things workout well and go to plan, I feel there will be a 24-72 hour BTC retracement and alts will start a very positive two weeks leading into December.
We should then see a retracement over the Holiday period, some confusion over Bitcoin Silver fork and the new year with January 2018 being the start of a new wave of excitement in the space especially with all the forks and FUD behind us.
China, China, China!
When will they return?
Will it also be this month or will it be in the new year?
When they re-enter the market the cap for crypto-assets will hit 200 billion and beyond.
The next thing to consider is the dilution of energy due to new regulations, new ICOs, and the ever expanding crypto-asset space.
