3 million users within the cryptocurrency space is great news for anyone invested early and for the long term and it is a true sign of legitimacy other than just the size of the market cap.
Anyone invested in the technology and the advancement in our monetary system and the way we share information will also be delighted by the traffic and new found interest.
The blockchain technology is only going to improve and we are seeing a huge cryptocurrency boom with numerous development teams setting up ICO's and establishing new aspects to the blockchain service menu.

I agree that privacy is going to be a major concern and people will resonate with security and privacy for any financial portfolios.
Cryptocurrencies like Monero and Z-Cash are seemingly at the front in regard to this privacy however my sleeping giant is VERGE which seems to have as great development team and is getting the multiple wallets in place to cater for everyone and the current price also makes this cryptocurrency very attractive.
I have also personally hit a milestone of 50 Video blogs, 200+ Youtube subscribers and over 400+ followers on Steemit.com.
