Today i and @alisonudeme on behalf of the steemit-uyo community journeyed down to the orphanage at Mbiabong (after shelter afric in Akwa Ibom state).
We were welcomed warmly by the matrons at the orphanage.
The children we met well very healthy and friendly. My heart melt in compassion when we interacted with those children in the premises.
The purpose of the visit was to remind them of our STEEMIT-UYO CARES come 14 febuary 2018 which is just 4days from now.

This is the outside view of the orphanage. We were not allowed to take pictures inside although the matron promised to consider us taking few picture when we return on the 14th.
