I bought my first item off the TikTok shop. They make it so easy to buy things on there, even more so than Amazon, so it was a very smooth experience. I didn't need to set up any complicated payment - just my existing Apple Pay; the same way I pay to travel on London Underground or shop at Morrisons.

The item is a tripod that I think is the top gadget of the year, at least on TikTok. In this video I give 5 reasons why I think the tripod wears that crown and why it's going viral on TikTok and other social media platforms.

Because it was my first ever purchase in the TikTok shop, I got a massive discount on this tripod, paying just over £2 for it! The postage was also free!! Of course this was a loss leader - designed to attract new buyers like myself so I can buy more stuff off TikTok shop in the future.
