Polono P31S Label Maker
I've used a few of these label printers, the ink-free thermal ones that is, and there's almost one of these two problems present; Low quality/resolution printing or low quality label paper. This little beauty has neither. That is to say, it prints high resolution with crisp text and clear images. The labels are also very good quality; water resistant and self-adhesive.
It does however lack a crucial ability - to print postage labels. Most people that buy label printers look for this feature. I get that it isn't targeted at that market, but that is the only thing that would make this the perfect label printer. I'm willing to bet Polono has a label printer that can print 4x6 or A6 size labels, which would be perfect for postage labels, but the price would probably be multiple times this one.
Many people sell professionally on platforms like eBay, Etsy and Vinted. There are label printers designed to make life easier for those people. Apart from the convenience, it also has to be cost-effective. The price of labels, and everything else, must be lower than, or at least the same as, just buying postage stamps from the post office.
Casual users are not as concerned with the cost-effectiveness since it's not a business. Those people that just need a good label printer for casual purposes such as labelling containers in the kitchen, etc., would love this printer.
Peace & Love,
