I abandonned Windows about a decade ago. I have one vintage Windows computer that I use for testing but it doesn't have enough power to run VR. I powered it up a few minutes ago. It can take 20 minutes to 2 hours for my Windows computer to load. So, I am watching HiveFest on Youtube.
Youtube says that there's only 42 people watching the live stream.
The homepage of HiveFe.st shows the event's schedule and it shows the youtube live feed. So, Youtube is a preferred method for accessing altvr.
Even if you don't want to watch Hivefe.st on Youtube it is probably good to load the video, like and subscribe to the channel because it makes Hive higher in the hideous youtube algorithm.
Oops. Googlebot, I didn't mean to malign the algorithm. Praise to the algorithm. Praise the Google. May the algorithm shower impressions on your videos.
When you load a live streem, Youtube will bring you to the live action. you can drop comments in the little side bar.
I wanted to watch the event from the beginning; so that I could hear the opening poem and see the introductions and definitions and videos. The presentation begins with about twenty minutes into the live stream.
The screen behind the speaker changes with each speaker. So you can drag the youtube slider to the videos you want to see.
Anyway, I am watching Hivefe.st on Youtube and recommend that people who don't use windows do the same. My Windows machine is still loading. If it finishes loading before HiveFe.st is over, I will try to log in to AltSpaceVR.
This is the HiveFe.st youtube channel. While it is good to avoid youtube, it is good to subscribe the the channels that one supports.
