The Jackson Bridge located at: Jackson St NE, Atlanta, GA 30312, is one of the most visited places by tourist the visit Atlanta. Although it has an impressive look at the city and a beautiful construction, many people visit the site, not because of it’s magnificent view, but because it is the “Rick Grimes Bridge”. There is a scene at the minute 58:16 of the very first season of the Walking Dead, episode 1 “Days Gone Bye” where Rick Grimes passes under the Jackson Bridge. It is the first time that the viewers get a clear picture of the destruction of the city of Atlanta. The image is so impressive that it even made the cover of the Blue Ray/DVD. If you are a fan of the Walking Dead and are visiting Atlanta, the visit is a must. Not only will it be great if you are a fan, but as I mention before, it has an impressive view of the city, but be very careful, there is a lot of traffic up and down the bridge, you might find a lot of pedestrians walking and the bridge has a low rail and there’s no fence, so be safe, I’m sure you don’t want to fall down the bridge, remember you won’t come back as a zombie. Safe trip and enjoy yourself. As always thank you for reading and remember to give some feedback as to what you think about this type of photography or the bridge.
