This was quite an incredible display of fortitude by the GPS! In this specific instance it stopped the round from the PK380 from a range of about 13 yards. As this isolated incident demonstrated a highly unanticipated result, we would not recommend using a plastic shelled object to yourself from any such weapon. After this test we discussed how unlikely another incident like this would occur. The round likely dispersed its energy in a way that some how translated into a larger push back effect from the force, rather than a penetrating force. All of this despite the FMJ projectile being fired from the weapon.
