One of the most anticipated Blockchain Games of this year to me has been War of Crypto. I have talked about Enjin Coin often before and even gotten a few people to buy some back when it was under ICO price, by the looks of it its not far off nowadays either - crypto can be full of surprises. This coin is in my opinion a long term hodler as the team and development have shown nothing but an amazing pace so far.
One of the first big games being developed to work with Enjin Coin is called War of Crypto and the official trailer was released at E3 this year which is one of the biggest events showcasing future video games.
I was quite excited to get into the pre-sale of War of Crypto as they had a lot of "Heroes" that would only be available to purchase then but as some things that are really hyped up in the cryptoworld go it sold out within an hour and you probably had to pay a big ether transaction fee to make it in time.
The public sale is only 2 days away though and is probably still worth getting into. Here are some additional information about the game!
Hereoes rarity varies from uncommon to common, rare, epic, legendary and special and there are different hero types reminding one a little bit about Pokémon battles.
By entering and winning battles you are rewarded "Crypto Dust" which you can apply to your heroes to level them up and at some point they will also be able to "evolve".
The Battle Style looks really cool and I'm looking forward to trying it out!
Of course since this is a blockchain game and being powered by a coin that wants to make ingame items give ownership to the people and not the companies creating the games, there will also be a marketplace where players can sell and buy heroes and items and other things by setting the prices to whatever they want to or think are appropriate.
If you are as excited about this game as I am make sure to set a reminder to check out the public sale in a couple days as I believe it may be one of those that can end quicker than you'd expect. I sure don't want to miss it like I did with the presale!
I will be trying to bring forward more projects like these ones that have with crypto and gaming to do in the near future here in posts. I believe gaming will be one of the next biggest usage for blockchain technology and I can't wait to see what else is brewing waiting to be announced and created!
