So week 23rd is concluding, but before it does, it's our chance to check how things have been with our goals shared with SSC. We only had two: firstly, to save at least 2500 HBD (or buy something we want when enough amount is accumulated), and secondly, to stack up some sats (no specific amount, DCA with at least $1 a day).
Well, everything had been okay so far, and we had been growing the numbers slowly, week by week.

The 30-day interest on the savings at 15% APR was received yesterday, accounting for almost 50% of the total HBD added during the week.
Curious, we checked the history. It was pretty interesting to see how the interest had been increasing slowly each month since January. These aren't much, but they all add up, helping us inch closer to our target.
However, the need to touch the savings is nearing (the hubby has found the big equipment he wanted), so we are not sure how long it's staying in the vault, but we will continue to joyfully add to it daily.
Meanwhile, I was optimistic yesterday that the weekend was looking great, but then we woke up this morning to another scare in life. Our father was rushed to the emergency room at 3 am due to severe pain in the stomach area, and he was not sure where it was coming from. His lab tests yesterday said everything was good, and he was ready to be scheduled for a colon scan and endoscopy, but then this happened.
When I heard about it, a voice inside me begged, "No, not again, please... please..." as it reminded me of the scary times we had when he and Mom were taking turns in the hospital last year. It's tough when a loved one gets sick, more so when they have a history of health issues. One couldn't help but worry. Despite that, we are hoping and praying everything will turn out okay.🙏
