Hello folks, in this post we'll talk about a new kind economic theory of money termed as Teoria Della Moneta Viva or the "Theory Of Living Money".
This theory has been developed Giuseppe Leanza, it proposes a revolutionary model
in which money as we know it loses value over time and with each transaction. This built in mechanism acts as a kind of self regulating tax, thereby eliminating the need for traditional banking and taxation altogether.
Core Concepts:
Controlled devaluation: In this model money as we know it gradually but in a controlled fashion loses it value over a period of time. This discourages hoarding and encourages circulation.
Tax is embedded within: Gradual loss of monetary value promotes an ecosystem where public spending and universal basic income a concept that is quite often debated upon becomes possible.
Zero Inflation: Since the monetary value remains stable, inflation and other such symptoms of traditional economics are avoided by default.
No Income Tax: This system removes the need for direct taxation and complex governance.
Why it matters:
This new way of thinking about money directly aims to address current global challenges such automation induced unemployment, poverty, inequality and all the inefficiency of the traditional monetary models. It envisions a rather simple more just and fair circular economy which is sustainable and is also a tool for empowerment and social equity.
