This was me asking a writer of bitcoinmagazine what he thinks of Steemit in October 2016.
Now before you come to your own conclusions - this was something I guessed he would reply. Having read his former articles, I know this was a person who is very pro Bitcoin and much anti-alternative currencies.
If you check most of his content you will quickly come to that conclusion as well.
Now there is nothing wrong believing your currency is the one true currency, hell I was there a couple years ago and it was bitcoin all the way for me as well.
But there is a difference believing in one innovative currency over fiat money and believing in one innovative currency over other currencies of similar nature.
Having followed bitcoin for a long time and knowing its difficulties it was facing, especially with micro-transactions, his reply to "Yours may be a better option" was a reason I wanted to paste this screenshot today and see how things are looking now.
