These are my photos for sevendaysoutside challenge windowmonday. The windows of The Church of Mary Victorious in Vienna, Austria. The Church of Mary Victorious is a Roman Catholic parish church. The church was built between 1868 and 1875 based on the plans of the architect Friedrich von Schmidt, who also designed the Vienna City Hall, in the Neo-Coragotic style. On the side altar on the right is a copy of the image of Mary Victorious, which also gives the name of the church. The history of the celebration of the patron saint can be traced back to the legend of the damaged miracle-working image. Together with the small tower on top of the dome, the building is 68 meters high.
