La première version live de Christopher Robin a été officiellement publiée par Disney. Avec la réintroduction de deux des plus aimés des personnages principaux: un garçon nommé Christopher Robin et un ours nommé Winnie l'ourson.

Cette fois, le garçon a été invité à grandir et a été joué par Ewan McGregor. Robin a été informée qu'elle n'avait pas rencontré Winnie l'Ourson depuis longtemps.
Au milieu de la complexité de la vie de Robin, il a été surpris par l'arrivée de Pooh. Pooh était soudainement présent quand Robin pensait au problème pendant qu'il songeait au parc.
Contraint par de nombreux problèmes en tant que personnage adulte, Christopher Robin a réalisé qu'il pouvait encore avoir un petit miracle dans sa vie. Mais il doit encore apprendre beaucoup de Winnie l'Ourson.
En plus de la réunion entre Pooh et Christopher Robin, le film sera également réafficher Tigrou (voix de Chris O'Dowd), Bourriquet (Brad Garrett), Owl (Toby Jones), porcelet (Nick Mohammed), Lapin (Peter Capaldi), et Kanga (Sophie Okonedo).
"Ce film est très excitant et émotionnel, ainsi que des scènes qui me semblent très actuelles", a déclaré le réalisateur Marc Forster à Entertainment Weekly.
"[Pooh] est toujours d'actualité comme il l'a été auparavant. Cela pourrait même être plus", a-t-il poursuivi.
L'histoire racontée dans Christopher Robin est différente de celle connue dans Winnie l'Ourson.
Si, dans Winnie l'ourson, vit une aventure dans le bois de cent acres, le film de Christopher Robin explorera la philosophie de l'amabilité et de l'amitié de Winnie l'Ourson manifestée dans le monde réel.
