Finally back up and running after a bit of a fumble and issue with the resyncing of my hived witness server.. Would of had to completely resync from scratch regardless to do a app update so went ahead and pulled the most current stable version of hived, compiled it and resync'd with that.
My price discovery and broadcast script seems to be working flawlessly and now that I'm back online I should be producing around 5 - 7 HIVE blocks a day.. And while that only amounts to a few dollars it SHOULD cover my server costs to run the node. Certainly not making bank on the witness server like those in higher rankings are.. but as long as it pays for itself or operates at a small enough loss it doesn't jeopardize my less than optimal finances then I will continue to run it.. I need to run it anyways for a secure RPC access for critical applet data but all in all as long as the community doesn't completely sewer my witness vote and rank I will be ok.
I have a few notable HIVE projects left to reboot or complete here in the next few months.. Unfortuntely the testing cycle alone on the most important app (Hive Loans) is a week just to test what I need to test which sucks.. that project is 85% done... and I have full intentions to finish it shortly.. it is however a cunt to debug with such a long testing cycle. :(
Certainly have a bit of work ahead of me to get shit rolling proper again, just the domain alone for that project is above what I am making on HIVE monthly so I will have to save up and get that again.. as well as make sure my other TLDs in the KLYE.net network are operational.
