Ok so, I have a lot of difficultly writing for some reason. To fix that I'm going to just make shorter posts to see if that will help.

General Update

So I lost my job in late May, so that's fun. Its honestly had me in a... not exactly dark place, but the curtains are drawn. Luckily they aren't blackout curtains, so some light gets through. So I'm looking for work, it's not really going anywhere. Mostly because I'm not looking that hard. The boy is off for summer vacation so its cheaper for me to watch him then pay for child care.

In June we went on a family vacation to Victoria B.C. Most of the trip was paid for before I lost my job, and my wife gets non-refundable bookings to save money. Was a beautiful trip, went to Butchart Gardens, ate some Yorkshire pudding, found a pizza place that sold by the slice but would assemble a full pie out of the slices. It was a good time.

July saw me starting the job search in earnest, got a job coach and everything. Did my first A.I. interview. That was fun. Right up until the end when I accidently closed the tab and the ended the interview early. That sucked.

So yeah, not a lot going on, just trying to stay cool in this summer heat. Going to try to update more often, but I say that every time. It is what it is. Till next time.
