In times past,
‘Country folks’ who lived close to and ‘Off of the Land’,
Used the things that were around them in the natural
World as much as possible, to avoid spending money they
Didn’t have to spend.
When I was small, I still had kinfolk
Who gathered this plant and made brooms out of it, so
It was and still is called, “Broom straw”.
Such are my Memories, and such is life.
If we are wise, if we are
Conscientious with our resources and our time,
We can and should make use of things that
Our world provides us, and be
Damned Frugal about it.
If things are given
Freely, this doesn’t mean that
They should be squandered.
Always seek a balance, in
All things.
Balance is the Key.
If we can live in
Balance with our
World, we will
Have peace.
