A walk on the beach can be calming,
Exhilarating or awe inspiring;
The Raging, Surging Power, paired with the
Soothing Sound of the Surf.
What a dichotomy of sensations.
But if you can change your perspective,
View this scene from above, you can see how
Insignificant we are compared to the
Beauty, the Majesty of
The ‘Eternal Ocean’.
Despite all that, we share a lot
With the ocean.
We too are mostly water, which
Just as the oceans are pulled by the tides,
So are we.
Our blood pulses and flows;
Feelings, (despite what some say), ebb and change
With the cycles of the moon.
The seas are within us all.
Another way that we are all one.
We are brothers, sisters; children of creation.
We should act more like kin
Rather than the strangers
We think we are today.
“I haven’t yet met a stranger, just
Friends I’ve not made.”
