If you are an avid follower of Adam Kokesh, you might have heard him say that people only join the military because of insanity, cowardice, or greed (including his famous...or infamous appearance on Dr. Drew).
I vehemently disagree with him on this; however, I would posit that these are the only reasons one might run for a political office.
Insanity: If you want to lord over people lives, telling them what they can or cannot do with their money, what kind of light bulb they can use, what they can do in the privacy of their own home, or telling someone what they can or cannot do with their own money....then I think you're insane.
Cowardice: If you want to sit in your lofty Washington office, hiding behind people with guns, using violence to enforce your ideas....you are a coward.
Greed: If you want to live off of the labor of the American taxpayer for your career of being in office (during and after)...you are greedy and have no business calling out anyone, 1%er or otherwise about wanting to expand their financial reserves.
