IT FEELS GOOD TO BE BACK!
2017... Were an incredible roller coaster ride. The entire year was filled with loads of pain, anxiety and setbacks. It wasn't until the end of the year things finally turned around and everything felt easier... Things started to go smooth.
Two of the most fantastic things that happened in late December 2017:
- I received good news regarding an upcoming education.
- @fulltimegeek delegated 5000 SP!
A bunch of other amazing things happened too:
- The value of SBD & Steem spiked & reached new levels.
- My Bittrex Account got verified before Christmas Eve.
- I bought myself some Christmas presents.

With All That Being Said... 2018 Started Out Equally Amazing!
I almost missed the train today. I basically jumped on board when the train started to roll away from the station. So truth to be told, I was about to be furious when I saw the train, as I knew I would be able to catch the train in time...
Anyhow, I boarded the train and went to my seat.
I think it was me and 4 or 5 other people on board, so that was awesome. I hate to sit next to a bunch of other people. Especially if they have screaming little kids running around in the carts.
As this train ride would take about 1 hour and 40 minutes, I obviously checked my phone. I haven't been too active for the past 5 days, just like I announced 5 days ago in a previous post of mine.
The first thing I did was to check email:
25 new emails. Okay, I'll save those for later.
How about coinmarketcap then?

Steem @ $5.80... That's amazing!
I obviously checked Steemit too and also steemreports, as I was curious to know exactly how many upvotes I've been able to cast during the time I was "AFK".
Thanks to @teamsteem's curation trail and my manual votes, as I've still been upvoting content from time to time during these days, I've been able to cast 430 votes in 5 days! - That's 430 upvotes during 5 days I've been more or less AFK. - Pretty insane stats if you ask me!
I also upvoted many authors with higher percentage votes due to the fact that I would be AFK for a while, so I knew I would be able to recharge my voting power.
79 New Followers!
During this time, I've also got 79 new followers!
New Year's Resolution
One of my New Year's Resolutions is to grow my account and invest in SP.
Even though this is what many would call baby steps... - It's still steps towards my goal!
Now when I'm back, I'll work even harder and I'll put in even more effort and I will make Steemit a better place. - I will grow and I will work hard to achieve my goals.
