After recently releasing a 7-song low-fi album here on Steem, I realized that this type of songwriting (low-fi / lots of improvisation) is something that I want to do...need to do, more often.
To that end...here's one I just recorded on my iphone. Hope you like it.
I love the desert
LYRICS
you don't know
i don't care
try real hard
to get out there
you wanna be
in the desert too
never gonna leave
the desert without you
i wanna be in there
in the desert bare
in the desert there
in the desert air
in there desert air wanna never leave
with the cactus trees and the antifreeze
on our knees and the grease and grime and oil
from out trailer park spoils of war that we got
from defeating the motherfuckers whose faces
are full of snot!
yeah yeah
she was sat as roadside bar in wichita
with dice tattoos on her...titties
i love the desert
big sunsets and skies
and that texas reverb sound from a gretsch guitar
underneath the stars with the tattooed beer sights of
christmas lights in my eyes
yeaaaaahhhhh!!!
get me to the desert!
get me to the desert now!
hey!
yeah
