There are truly a lot of things to see in Legoland Deutschland. Especially if you are full of wonder and willing to explore. One thing that really impressed me was the Star Wars themed mini-land. From AT-ST's and AT-AT's to Han Solo's ship and nuances featured in the ''Attack Of The Clones'' as well as the fights on Hoth. Accompanied with blaster sounds and lightsaber swooshes the set up was perfected to the last detail. And, they even have the biggest Imperial Destroyer (it was biggest in some kind of area but I can not recall which, maybe even biggest in the world. But don't quote me on that) model on display.
The Star Wars corner was not big but sufficient enough. For those who wanted to take photos of them fighting Darth Maul and Vader, it was possible. Granted, the guys were made out of Lego but they were impressive nonetheless. Insert heavy breathing. I gave my mom some directions and I think she might become a great Jedi Master one day. You can check the pictures further down on the post! :)
I had to start with this picture. It is iconic and that dress just flows. You go girl!
The movies are introduced to us on a desert planet called Tatooine. This is the place where Han Solo has docked his ship in(in the pictures). I was amazed to check out all of the figurines. And the built sets that you can buy in the most regular of toy stores are put in their natural habitat here, in Legoland.
I would not say that I am a huge fan(I like the story a lot, though) but playing Battlefront has taught me some little things. It was amazing to be kind of thrown in the environment of a fictional and amazing world. Almost makes you want to teleport there and stop Order 66 from ever happening. But the story went its course and I, as an onlooker can say that the movies are doing their job of entertaining.
Now, if I am not mistaken and only then. This might be taken shortly before the execution of Order 66. Or is it not? Does anybody here know? I would love it if you told me :) I think it is as those scenes of the order executed were full of marching and Jedi. Either way, in my opinion those setups in the pictures look amazing and unique.
In a Galaxy far, far away... There is a huge metal beast falling on his knees. Then there are guys in plastic suits that reflect laser beams. I want to be in this world but not as a Storm Trooper. I would most definitely pull a Finn on these guys. I need to have my unique style and the right to think on my own! I ain't a clone or a brainless soldier!
The more time passes and the more I grow, I notice that the Sith and the Jedi were and are not stark opposites. Sometimes the Jedi do things that do not seem right and sometimes the Sith use more logic than the light-siders. Star Wars characters are not two-dimensional, they are human(well, at least fraction of them). I have learned, going through life, that there are not only two colors in the world. Not just black and white. And Star Wars depicts that splendidly.
Two sides meet in one place. The cold and the foresty. This last picture of the AT-ST getting a bang on both sides is something I remember very well. Yes, it is thanks to the cannibal cuddle bears. I remember the scene because of them. Plus, the fact that I re-watched all of the movies in the last 6 months helps.
This is from one of the later movies. You can see it by the color of the Lego bricks. They are still shiny and mostly clean. The older set-ups have lost their color just a little bit but this one was all nice and posh. Must be Jakku. At least it looks like it. Also, I made sure that in the middle image you also see the Imperial Ship, the one that is supposedly very, very big in terms of Lego models. And it is. I just do not remember if there was any bigger one.
Then there are those guys who marched and fought. But didn't all of them? Oh, and the building is pretty cool. It had a door where flyer's commuted through. Well, they were standing in place on a stick but the mid-air aura was still present.
Here, my mother! The greatest Jedi of the future. She takes Darth Maul without a saber! What power, such wow! Immense greatness.

P.S. Buying tickets online is cheaper than on the spot. Much, much cheaper. I think it is 45 euro per person if you buy them at the amusement park. And if you do not want to get wet on the water ride but do not wish to spend 4 euros on a plastic-bag style raincoat, grab one from your home or the closest store that sells them.
Hello to all the Star Wars fans out there!
I wish you an amazing day, today, tomorrow and forever,
Linda!
