Why do we yearn for people or someone? Does missing someone mean something remarkable or is it just that somehow the wiring in our brain cells reminds us of someone?
Whatever you call it, we do miss people or someone special to us, don’t we? Sometimes it makes us happy, sad or angry and all kinds of emotions all at once.
When we miss someone, there is often a reason behind it. When we come across something that reminds us of that person, our hearts instantly flutter. For instance, if someone talks of or say sushi, and a long lost special friend of mine used to love it, we’ll suddenly think of them and feel someone is boring a hole deep inside your heart.
The thing is, even though there is no factual reason for us to be immediately be reminded of that person, if we come across things even at the weirdest stuff related to them, we will most likely miss them. It really does intrigue me how the tiniest of things can remind you of someone that you didn't even know you remembered doing it with them.
They say, it’s somewhat a disguise. We don't really miss the person, we miss the good times, good memories and our best time spent with that certain person.
One thing is for sure, it’s because you love them so much! Just a reminder, don't pour all your love to just one person, share it equally among people make your love be seen and felt so that you make yourself and everyone around you happy.
Anyway, missing somone is such a heart tugging feeling. Don’t just ignore it. If those people still exist in your life, make them feel it. It’s never too late.
“ I wish you to know that you have been the last dream of my soul.” -Charles Dickens(a Tale of Two Cities)
