When I had to leave my mother’s womb to respond to the call of nature and show up on planet earth, everyone was happy at the arrival of a new baby and everyone wanted to behold my innocent and pretty looking face. They could not help but feel my pretty tiny hand on their strong and hard skin.
After those long hours of the journey I just embarked upon to come to planet earth, I was tired and hungry and I needed something to feed me and then the first challenge came which was to draw out milk from a dry breast.
I was too hungry to complain and even if I did, it was obvious no one could hear me out, so I put my strength at it and worked hard at bringing out milk and after sometime I smiled at myself because I won, there I learned that this new place I have come to requires hard work.
Then, with time I started to grow and I saw other big babies run around, so I tried to be like them. I will constantly stand and fall again, I will imagine myself running but whenever I try to run in reality it always became a big deal. Then, I learned that earth, has a rule that says; you have to wait until it is your time, for every activity and stage in life, there is always an appointed time.
So I started to take life process one after the other, I tried to smile, I started to sit, and then started to crawl gradually I moved to walking and in no time I began to run and play but all those were still inside the house while my Mum kept a close watch at me, I began to desire more I wanted to play outside and not just indoors alone. Again I realized that humans always wish for more things, we are never satisfied with what we wanted yesterday as we want something new today.
But since I just began to grow in this act, I had to learn from other big babies who were already experts in the act, when they realized I was so eager to learn, they thought me with all pleasure and they smiled greatly as they saw my daily improvements. Again I learned that when you are humble and ready to learn, then great people will want to teach you because it is usually their believe that you will make them proud.
To stand, I obtained bruises and Mum was always there to take care of them, out of my greatest desire to run and play, I will pick myself up again and try harder. After sometime, I began to walk by myself without the help of anyone. This thought me that; Great champions usually fall on their journey to success, but their ability to pick themselves up and try again, makes one a truly successful person.
