Success isn't a day job, in fact, it is not a week or month thing. From one of Sylvia Duckworth's Sketchnote titled; "The Iceberg Illusion", which you could access her many illustrative sketches from the website link, you will notice how an iceberg is formed, the same process applies in the human world.
As avid sketchnoter, AIM French teacher and Tech Coach, Google Certified Innovator and Trainer, Apple Teacher and Apple Distinguished Educator with 30+ years of teaching experience in the public and independent school systems, Sylvia's illustration clearly reflects what lays beneath a floating Iceberg, it should never be underestimated. Ship Captains and Sailors never takes any large floating ice for granted because they have an iota of what is holding it up, that coasted the Titanic to wreck according to history.
In reality, the disappointments and failures don't show in any successful person, only individuals who later succeed in what they do knows what they went through. The hard work, several hours of persistence and dedication, the discipline, which seems the hardest part of any process of success and the sacrifice are never known to the public, just the raves of the moment count to people.
We all must have been in a similar situation one time or another, while in college, getting your first job, buying your first assets, etc. These are decision-making processes in life that determine how successful an individual could be in life, there will always be disappointment and failures along the way, the ability to scale through and fight on is what matters most.
It never gets easier till you get to the top, the top for some is to be in the apex position in a society, for some its to bag a degree or higher educational qualification and get a good job, for some it is establishing a business that runs for many decades, getting the perfect spouse is success for some, having beautiful children is the definition of success to others.
Whichever category you belong, what matters most is achieving that success, get back up irrespective of the number of times you have been brought down by life's struggles!
