After questioning, Greg is sent to jail for 30 days until the police can catch up to Zellda and get some more information on the case. Although this makes Greg furious because he did not have anything to do with the robbery back the liquor store, his mother has no problem with it, she thinks he needs to be rehabilitated in way. Greg's mother goes out on a date to Red Lobster with Sgt.Briggs to try to help her son out in anyway possible. Greg is in jail with his own thoughts racing wild because he doesn't know how he is going to get out of his current situation. Trying to socialize with the other inmates, Greg meets one of Zellda's henchman Sal. Sal was not killed during the shootout back at the liquor store nor was he injured. Sal was apprehended after the SWAT and police swarmed the liquor store along with Greg. The two lock eyes and notice that they notice each other and make their way to one another for confrontation.
Back on the road, Zellda has left the semi-truck behind and taken her drugs and gold on foot with her. As She walks between cars trying to find the perfect couple to bribe, she walks past a gay couple blasting "It's Raining Men" singing along loudly. She smirked to herself and backtracked to observe them first. She opens the trunk of their SUV and hides in the back to wait for a time that they would be pass the police check.
Once pass the police check she pulls a gun on the passenger and says "Im Zellda, Like the game....what's yours?" The two men are startled and surrender as she has them at gun point... "I need to get out of town, ASAP!" The guys agree and she flashes the gold, promising them a portion if they do what she says. Nobody would turn down a offer like that so the guys head out of town with Zellda.
In Jail, Greg and Sal form an alliance in jail discussing who Zellda is? Where is she from?? Sal has some pretty interesting answers.
Greg : So who is this Zellda character?
Sal: She's an undercover spy from the outskirts of Canada...I was introduced to her from my former boss, Montego, whom she "accidentally killed" on a bank job that we did a few years back....Freak accident man blood was everywhere!
Greg: So... she takes down your boss and then you go and WORK for her? Hmm, seems ass- backwards.
Sal: Look Montego was Zellda's older brother, they both had ties to a southern drug ring, to whom which I have worked with a few times. But, jobs with those cats are..ehhh
Greg: what do you mean "ehhh"?
Sal:"Ehh,(pause) as in things don't necessarily go as planned on those jobs.
(flashbacks ensues)
Alabama border -2016
Car chase, Sal is driving and armored Hummer while being shot at by drug dealers trailing them in a silver truck. With Zellda shooting at the drug dealers and Montego in the passenger seat, The drug dealers are gaining on them.. As Zellda Shoots back at the dealers, She fails to let off the trigger when trying to get back in the car for cover and blows Mentego's brains across the dashboard. Sal is shocked and swerves and almost crashes the car, but this throws off the dealers and they drive straight into a wall. This crash only injures Sal and kills some of the dealers, So Zellda and Sal get out the car and begin getting shot at by the surviving dealers. They get chased to a nearby building where they can get some cover and reload for a change and realize what just happened. Sal is shook as Montego was not only his boss but was a mentor for Sal, and had been for the last 4 years. Before Montego, Sal was just a petty credit card scammer with little to no lucrative earnings. Montego's death did something to Sal as he knew things were going to be different from that point forward. Zellda says " Shake that shit off maybe he was meant to die, It was no way we could have avoided it. either i did it or they would have got him". Sal shakes his head in disbelief. The last dealer comes around the corner and tries to shoot them both but is intercepted by Zellda as she kicks the gun out his hand and breaks his neck. But as the gun fell it shoots at Sal but just barely misses him. Zellda tells Sal " we have to go....and by go i mean like NOW!" As Sal gets up, the bullet hole is exposed and shows that the bullet just barely missed his head.
Sal: and every since then i just never really trusted Zellda, but i mean she has given me opportunity ya know?? I've been to places my family would never see. Seen amounts of cash i never seen from card skimming.
Greg: Hell......after all of that i would expect that you wouldn't even go anywhere near her. I mean damn the money what about if you were next. what if you were Montego that day???
Sal: I know...I know but hey, sometimes you have to do what you have to do.
Greg: Look, maybe we could bring this bitch to justice, like when we get outta here you know?
Sal: Your right, i'm down but how's your case looking?
Greg: They don't have any fingerprints on me so their giving me a mandatory 30 days until they get to the bottom of the case. You know a kind of protocol type thing".
Sal:Okay well, I don't think they have much on besides being at the scene i never shot at a officer that day.
Greg: So why do you lead life of crime if it isn't your M.O.?
Sal: Hey! it pays the bills, I can't punch a clock every day and be a pencil pusher, that just isn't me.
Greg:Whatever pays the bills huh?
Sgt.Briggs and Greg's Mother Molina discuss getting Greg on the police force. Over the dinner they also flirt and begin to show a further liking to one another. Sgt.Briggs says that he can pull some strings once the case is expunged from Greg's record
Zellda and the guys (Matthew and Joseph) show up to a hotel just off one of the highway exits. They decide that they should get some sleep they've been driving for at least 6 hours straight. They feel as if they should at least blow of some steem with some wine and some fun at the bed & breakfast. Zellda reveals that she has something other than just wine to unwind for the night. The guys are prone to try whatever she has to kind of bring the night alive. Zellda Reveals a zip lock bag of "Chili" or "XY-0803".
Joseph: What are you a fucking a genie? You have EVERY FUCKING THING!
Matthew: Yeah i'm glad that you snuck into our car earlier, i guess it was truly a blessing.
Matthew clutches his cross around his neck, and Zellda notices.
Zellda: So whose taking the first bump?
Joseph: I will! Hell, I'll take two!
Joseph takes out a dollar bill, rolls it up and snorts two lines of Chili.
Joseph: Ahhhhh! Now that's the kicker!Turn up Bih!
Matthew : Are you taking any Zellda?
Zellda: Sure, but only after you guys!
Matthew: Okay, but just half a line, i hear this shits really potent. My Step- Grandmas youngest daughter tried 1 1/2 lines and had to go to the psych ward.
Joseph: Will you stop being a fucking saint and live a little for once in your fucking life, Ya know Matt you can really be a buzzki...
Matthew snorts the line before Joseph can finish the sentence.
Joseph: That's more like it. Zellda your turn.
Zellda: I had already bumped in the car a few times, you guys couldn't tell?
Matthew notices she has a gun in the duffel bag, along with the gold.
Matthew: and what is that for?
Zellda: for protection you can't never be to sure especially when i have so much gold and drugs on me, I'm a girl you know?
Joseph begins hallucinating and now is singing songs he believes are playing but the room is quiet and Zellda decides to turn on some Beyonce to take the attention off of Joseph. So as they dance Zellda is trying to find the keys so that she can leave them and get back on the road and get to where she needs to get. Joseph goes to the bathroom because he's "too high" and the hallucination are getting the best of him. Zellda figures that this would be her opportunity to get the keys and leave the two at the room. To their surprise Joseph comes out the bathroom wielding a knife saying....(Singing Beyonce's "Deja Vu")
Joseph: GET THAT BITCH OUT OF HERE,SHE'S TRYING TO TAKE OUR CAR!
Zellda: You know what FUCK IT!
Zellda grabs the gun out the bag and Points is at matthew
Zellda: Put the gun down or YOUR MATT HERE IS FUCKING DEAD!
Joseph: This shit let's you see into the future after certain amounts, I'll be damned if you leave us here in the dark while you escape with all the gold and the wine.
Matthew:Put the DAMN knife down your letting the drugs get to you!
Zellda: Yeah Joe! Your letting the drugs get to you pipe down!
Joseph rushes Zellda with the knife so Zellda knocks out Matthew and shoots Joseph right between the eyes.
Zellda: I didn't want to do it! But you made me! You made me do it!
Zellda sheds tears while leaving the scene but at least leaves the unconscious Matthew a bar of gold and some wine says a prayer and leaves.
As Zellda's in their car she weeps because she did not expect for the night to go how it did. Zellda drives up the highway with the rest of the "Chili" and the gold.
