Right here in las vegas a woman was terminated from her job on March 13th, after a no call no show for both the 11th and the 12th. Now at face value this might seem fair, but lets look at the back story.
Nikki is a woman who suffers from Eplipsi and has swarming seasures from time to time. This was one of those times. Now her employer is well aware of this as she has a medical alert dog that goes everywhere she goes including her job.
The 2 days of no call no show was also not communicated by Nikki, But her Emergency contact instead. Teresa a Las Vegas resident and friend to Nikki was infact in contact with the employer to let them know that she had spent the last 2 days undergoing back to back (in some cases) seasures, also known as swarmers.
Despite the calls from Teresa the emergency contact, the company fired Nikki anyway. I will be interviewing Nikki later this week as well as Teresa and the Employer..
