I've come to get used to Xmax weekly reports; it's one of the things I look forward to in a new week. Among other things, what I like most is their consistency keeping these updates coming, I've seen projects engage in this and derail from it within two to three weeks tops. As a beneficiary of their weekly updates, I've decided to support the Xmax course by writing this piece. As usual, the Xmax team had an eventful week, ranging from the release of a wallet, GitHub development progress, approaches to marketing in Asia, bounty update and other exciting development of which I'll be getting into details shortly.
On the 14th of September, Xmax released an iOS beta version of their wallet called XToken; users can now download a trial edition of XToken from the Apple App Store. The wallet adopts Swift 4.1 and Apple's native application development framework. According to the XToken development lead, the wallet provides all the basic functions required for general transactions including wallet creation, importing existing wallets, checking balances, transaction records, real-time currency values, and support for displaying the value of digital assets in native currencies. We're looking forward to upcoming weekly reports when the Web Wallet and the Android version are released for testing.
There has been a handful of development in Github features such as the mainchain, sidechain, and SDK. Development in mainchain includes; Implement automatic reflection logic and related macros to reduce the difficulty of data definition and the amount of code, and increase development speed, Removal of old attributes and replacing them in Implementation Class. As of that of the sidechain, we could see development in related basic data structures for token interaction, such as address logic, message sending structure, data cache structure, etc. prepare for the next step to achieve transaction logic. Lastly, development in SDK took place in the home, script and account section.
Xmax bounty has been ongoing for quite some time, and a lot of people has participated in it, but unfortunately, most folks who enrolled for the bounty hasn't submitted their ERC20 wallet to receive their bounty. Xmax has been patient with these set of people and has given a deadline for submission of wallet address the date picked as the last day of submission is the 19th of Septemeber. Without an ETH wallet address linked to a bounty account, the Xmax team can't be able to send out the XMX rewards.
