Tuesday (Wednesday) and we are still out of electricity. Too many lines and transformers are damaged and it looks like restoration of normal services will take a while, they say. I hope not!
Although in DD, power is back already. I should probably go home there soon, lol!
Anyway, I did a bit of work in the neglected spaces in the yard around mid morning when my old folks were resting.

It was not in the day's plan to be honest. I was just feeling cold and my antidote was to stay under the sun for some warmth. But while outside, I started pulling this and that (small weeds) and realized I was enjoying the activity.
You prolly missed gardening (my thought) so I rushed to the store for a pair of gloves, borrowed a small bolo from my Dad's box (can't find any other suitable tool) and was on to the weeds once more, grabbing and chopping off grass and such.

I should have taken a before pic prior the job but it was not on my mind so these were photographed around mid afternoon, when while taking out some trash, I noticed the reflection on the accumulated water.

There had been big dumps of eroded soil during the previous typhoons but we have not been able to clear them out. Now, the yard is a mess, I can barely recognize it, lol!

Hoping to get to it by first quarter next year. Mr P (procrastination) residing in the house?🤔
Not really.
We are just prioritizing😂
Well, at least today (rather yesterday), I got my hands dirty, exercised some muscles, received Vit D (hopefully), broke some sweat, became a bit productive off the screen, and most importantly, I fed (healed) my soul and I'm feeling a lot better!
So it's a Happy hump day😉
