A dolphin found itself stuck
in the River Torens caught out by ties
at West Beach this morning as it waited
for the high tide to take it back to see
the dolphin pulled out all the tricks,00:00:10]
showing off for the excited
onlookers who lied.00:00:13]
The shore frolicking in the river.00:00:17]
Fair enough locals this morning treated00:00:20
to an upclose experience
with a wild dolphin at West Beach.00:00:25
A pursuit for breakfast quickly turned00:00:27]
into a day trip for the bottlenose dolphin
trapped in the River Torin's outlet.00:00:32]
When the tide moved out.00:00:34]
We think it came in on a high tide,
probably chasing fish.00:00:38]
The tides now gone out.00:00:39]
But the Dolphins remained
here in this deep pool.00:00:42]
The dolphin who rest skewers have named00:00:45]
June threw quite the crowd and onlookers
weren't disappointed as June showed off.00:00:52]
Putting on a bit of a performance,
actually jumping out of the water,00:00:55]
swimming around,
making a few different noises.00:00:59]
It's been great.
Good to see all the people around.00:01:02]
A bit of interest.00:01:02]
Really loving it saw the dolphin
breached a couple times.00:01:06]
I got a bit of seaweed on its dorsal fin,
so yeah, it's really cool.00:01:09]
Experts reassuring those
looking on the June was safe.00:01:14]
Tresse animal will be vitalizing a lot
more and have much more erratic behavior.00:01:18]
Reminding people not to get too close00:01:20]
and let nature run its course
50 minutes approach zone.00:01:24]
And that's the law.00:01:25]
There's rules appointing
place nine if your safety.00:01:27]
But that is the animal.
Marine experts say it's not uncommon00:01:30]
for Dolphins to get stuck out here
and it's expected to make its way back00:01:35]
to the sea this evening as
the high tide comes in.00:01:38]
For now, June waits for the tides to turn.00:01:42]
