Last of couple of day I was missing something. Unable to trace the reason for incompleteness I was feeling within me. Although it was regular routine, that I usually used too, waking up, office and then bed at night. But still there was something that I am not doing and finding it clueless.
Finally, today I figured it out, last 3 days, I was not able to post any content on steemit, although now and then, I did upvoted few of the post, but no contents. Reason being…I was involved in something very crucial and important. And I had a very hectic schedule. No matter what, till the times I reaches at home and even think of Steemit, I fell asleep, that was the kind of tiredness I was into, true example of mental tiredness along with physical tiredness.
Well nothing important for my personal stuff, rather I was totally exhausted in my Official duties. It was the last few days of March and every company in India do their best to record all the transaction within the timeliness. In India Financial years is from 01-Apr to 31 Mar. So on last days of March all the accounts of the companies whether small and big, do their best and ensure to get all the transaction pertaining the year recorded in their book of accounts during the same year.
Some of the main workload during the month close involves:
Recording of all expenses in the company books of accounts.Making provision accounting of all the unaccounted transaction.Bank reconciliation of all the banking transaction.Reclassification of all the wrong accounted transaction, like advertising expenses booked under office expenses etc.etc etc
There are so many that now I even do not want to remember all the names, from accounting to taxation to business requirements
Above mentioned are some of the major task undertaken during every month close, and especially the year close , which happen to be Fiancial Year close.
Each of the accounts are thoroughly been drilled down to make the book of accounts looks proper. All the activities are required to present the true picture of the business to all the stakeholder which further help in smooth running and growth of the business.
All the task is very crucial from accounts point of view, any irregularities means accounts mismatch which further results in reworking, so utmost importance is given, on executing each of the major tasks with proper care. In case of any irregularities, the company may legal action by the Income tax department. A
People with accounting back ground must be aware of the importance of the book close, and the amount of pressure one feels. Even now, when I am writing my post, I am pretty sure, there are many accountants in India, who are working to ensure proper recording. Anyhow, finally have completed my task, and took some time out to make a post. Unable to find any good topic, I choose the same, which kept me away from Steemit for the lthe ast couple of days.
Now, I am back, and make sure to make some post now and then…..Missed my Steemit family. And to remind ...tomorrow is our Financial New Year. A new begining for a new set of accounts for new Financial year.
