People place value on you based on their understanding of who they think you are..most times the level of respect,quality of gift or interpersonal treatments you receive from people are based on their perceptions of what they think you truly worth.
Examples according to holy book:
*Judas betrayed and sold Jesus for just 30 pieces of silver. An amount of money that can only buy a plot of land then.
- Esau sold his birthright in an exchange for a plate of food. This can only quench hunger for a moment.
However, the perception of people doesn't change your true quality, neither will it diminishe your real value. It might be that such people are suffering from perception deformity.

WHAT YOU NEED TO DO:
*Just distance yourself from people who don't place right value on you nor appreciate your personality and sence of worthiness. *A person who don't value you can exchange you for nothing. You deserve the best and you should be treated the way you treat others.BE WISE!!!!!!
*Dont ever bargain your self-esteem and take less because if you do so, you're telling the world you don't WORTH anything good
