Zinedine Zidane, the coach of Real Madrid, admitted to his side's 2-1 defeat against Eibar in the second round of the Liga.
Zidane said in remarks published by the newspaper "AS" Spanish, said he was delighted to win a strong competitor like Eibar in a very close affair match, pointing out that his team did not provide a high technical game, and suffered from the first minute until the end.
He added that his team lacked possession of the ball today, but had other things such as personality and fighting.
"Luka Modric is a very important player in Real Madrid. Although he has not played for 20 days, he has shown a great level. I did not want to involve him until the end of the game, but the Croatian finished the match well."
Zidane praised Cristiano Ronaldo, who scored the double of the win today, stressing that "he is a player from another galaxy and very positive and always wants to register, and has a character capable of making the difference."
The coach repeated his words about the impossibility of crowning Real Madrid or a team other than Barcelona, the Spanish league title this season.
The Frenchman concluded by saying that the pair, Gareth Bale and Isco, did not appear very well, because Real Madrid suffered today and did not offer its normal level.
