I also played recently with differnt sculpting tools. The one I loved most was Scupltris. But its difficult to imaging doing this with a tablet. I needed my mouse to get decent results :D

Sure Laster cutting would speed up some parts and would give you the option to use different materials. But its not so big that you could not print it and 3d printer are more spread...did you get yours

I also dream of a Glowforge still. I hope the soon partner with Import companies for europe. Dont want to pay the about 800 Euros of Shipping to Germany and the Taxes on top.
