Are there actual community sections on steemit or is it just using the hashtag, so we can read and support each other's posts? I'd like to join. My favorite bloggers so far on steemit have been homesteaders.

New follower here. I followed because my husband is set on moving to Alaska next year. We probably won't homestead, but I'd like an idea of what Alaska living is like apart from Life Below Zero.
