Fair review. Old Speckled Hen is one of the worst bitters I have ever had. It is really bad.

Baltic Porter. My kind of beer. Have you read my text about Baltic Porter Day celebrated in Poland, origins of the style and so on?

Pellets. I put them on a strainer and pour water through it. Results are really awesome., you should definitely try it if you like hops as well.

It looks beautiful and probably smelled even better. I love hops to the point that I often add them to water, it tastes really good!
