RE: Vessel Desktop Wallet: New Features, Security/Bug Fixes, and Maintenance
We still talk about the integration of Steem into Anchor a decent amount, but you're absolutely right that it'll take some time if and when it happens. Maintaining Vessel for the time being seems like

You may have looked at my old Anchor repository, which was actually being built as a Steem wallet and since halted. The actual Anchor repository is located under the Greymass organization on Github, in

RE: Vessel Desktop Wallet: New Features, Security/Bug Fixes, and Maintenance
I'll try to support you in this effort with what time I can spare. I still use Vessel quite a bit as well, and just haven't been able to devote the time to improving it. Depending on how we want to go

RE: SteemDB.com Migration Completed
Largely yeah, it's a factor of the price and overall market cap. In small part though it could be a piece of inflation strategy and culture.

RE: Jurisdictional Agility in BEOS
I don't anticipate it impacting anything either, we'll happy try to merge this stuff upstream into the rebrand as we keep getting closer and closer to release :)

RE: SteemDB.com Migration Completed
It's still something we talk about whenever we're dreaming up future features for Anchor. We are still neck deep in the 1.0 release though, with the goal of bringing feature parity as well as a dApp

RE: Steem Blockchain Seed Node Review
Mine is coming back online shortly. I had an IP address change and the DNS was never updated. As soon as the DNS propagates across the internet, it should be pointing to an again online server.

Most of the analysis was actually @anyx, but I've been jumping in and responding to comments on and off :) To give some point by point answers: This isn't always the case, some BPs aren't selling EOS to

I see the point - but I don't think there would be anything stopping them from still making good stuff and competing in the same ways they are now. When BPs have either excess time or funding, I'd like

In regards to your second point - I think I would argue that while currently BPs are the best candidates for some of these funds - not all of the best candidates for these funds make good BPs. This happens

RE: Vessel 0.2.8 - Bug Fix
Steem itself doesn't have a really great place for this, at least using the native APIs. The way you're pulling from the @sn0n/profile permalink post is probably one of the best ways (using the json_metadata

It's something we've talked about, but haven't committed any resources to yet. Right now Greymass is in the process of rebuilding "eos-voter" (aka "Greymass Wallet") into a brand new

If we went that route, we'd probably replace Vessel all together with the core framework we've built under what's currently named "eos-voter". Within the next month or so we're relaunching eos-voter

RE: The recent controversy between Steemit Inc and the community - the premine, control, and where it leads this blockchain
That's the entire site that's currently running. It's largely dormant at this point and if I were to work on it again, I'd rewrite the whole thing, but it might serve as a good base to learn a few things

RE: Pros and cons of two versions of Steem Proposal System
IMHO - redirecting inflation is the way to go on this. The inflation method essentially creates a constant faucet which will trickle funds in at a predictable rate which can then be used to plan/budget
