Yeah, I think this kind of thing is a long term problem for steemit that needs to be fixed. Otherwise the currency won't last and grow.

It is correlated with the other cryptocurrencies. So when they go down in price, it also brings down the steemit price. That is my analysis.

I agree with you that the $10/$15 problem you mentioned needs to be fixed. However, I think the idea of paying yourself has a value for the currency. It is the incentive to keep your money in Steemit.

I am not sure they will be able to catch up to Tesla anytime soon. And... that is a beautiful car.

Ok, I hear you. Another idea would be to have split voting power. You have voting power for yourself and voting power for other people. That way, you wouldn't have to worry about your votes for others
