@irivers is correct about STEM and BYTE being similar. Also it costs 1000 BEE to create a pool. Funding is limited and BYTE can already be swapped for HIVE on the exchanges, so it's not as high of a priority

Tomorrow? I just switched the pool on a few minutes ago.😁 Hive blockchain uses UTC time so it's been April 13th on Hive for awhile.

Sorry for the delay. Yes, you both (you as upvoting curator and the other user being the post author) get BYTE. The user that has staked BYTE and upvotes the post gets half of the reward with the other

I've checked and the payouts have begun in the reward pool. it's handled by the SMT smart contract on Hive-Engine. It's the same as other Hive Engine tokens. Users that stake BYTE share a 50%/50% split

BYTE token takes 8 days to pay out. The rewards pool was created a little over 7 days ago. Payments from the reward pool will begin in about 24 hours. I know it's a little weird. Most H-E tokens pay out
