This was at a place called Vasquez Rocks, its a bit north of Los Angeles, CA

It's actually more of a post processing than it is just taking the picture, lots of work with contrast and getting all the small stars to show. Thanks for the kind words and will check out your page.

I actually just saw that they also have an actual abandoned ghost town not too far away from this gas station you can drive up to, has about 20 or so buildings.. next time i will make sure and stop at

Thanks so much! All i do is keep my camera on a tripod and have my finger ready on the trigger! Just a long shutter, so i get to capture the full effect a little bit. :) Happy 4th!
