Splinterlands has many many barriers and even more ways to earn. The going gets tough but there are many brilliant resources around to help and the discord is excellent. If it feels steep to invest in, play a bit, try to gather SPS and stake. If you're planning on buying, buy SPS directly or buy DEC to get SPS drops. Chaos legion is the solution.
