Possible, for sure. But if votes are being altered, there's probably an equally valid chance votes are being conjured out of nothing... maybe even in the names of people who didn't show up to vote at all.

I am also seeing that it depends on the value of steem/sbd/sd. Votes that were worth considerably more two weeks ago have declined noticeably in light of steem value declining as of late.

I wrote this based on calculations I made using the Steem Dollar tool; however, the tool seems to currently be calculating incorrectly from what I can tell. If it's fixed, the same calculation would work
