RE: Anarchy, Celebrities, Drama, Scandals, & Seriously Why The Fuck Do I Have To Bring This Up?
You know what I woud do if I became a celebritarian? Tell people to get a life and stop looking up to some fucked up asshole like me. Also, not get into a bunch of sexual bullshit and start voting. But

No man is flawless. The end. THe problem is that humans tend to elevate some men to a point that when their flaws show, we take it personally and see it as an affront and discredit to all they've said

RE: Anarchy, Celebrities, Drama, Scandals, & Seriously Why The Fuck Do I Have To Bring This Up?
As I made clear, I have my own 'ideological' grievances with Kokesh. Personally, I've felt he was a shill and in the case between him and his ex, his actions were beyond something like an affair. If rumors

RE: The Reason Millenials Are Losing Their Minds Over Trump
I know right? I mean, I advocated that Hillary would hasten us to more dissent and abandonment of the 'state'. But this Trump thing will be amusing, to say the least. Gotta invest in popcorn shares.

RE: The Power of Not Voting
Empowering isn't it? When you wield such influence in doing nothing while those that go out of their way to take action find themselves powerless?

RE: The Reason Millenials Are Losing Their Minds Over Trump
Funny thing, the people that are the most pissed about Hillary losing(in my xp) and are even blaming non-voters for the loss, are older than me, like Vietnam era age. This election accomplished one thing

RE: The Power of Not Voting
Yep, yep. It seems, according to HIllary supporters, not voting actual does make a difference and wields more influence than voting for the loser.

Oh, I know. But it's fun to run with them on their wild-goose chases. Makes for excellent youtube footage, lol.

RE: The Post-Hoc Bullshiters Of The Presidential Election
In summation: news and media is nothing but general speculation followed by triumphant strutting. Intellectual autonomy, people. Learn it, live it, love it.

RE: Hume vs. Reid or Hume & Reid?
That is always a plus. I like reading, but I like being able to have a back and forth in order to better refine what I am thinking and to allow them to find ways to better present their thoughts to me.

RE: Morality: Only Subjective Or Objective?
It seems this course is focusing on the more 'classical' works. I do find some purchase with more modern philosophers such as Rand but even they fail to 'epitomize' how I see things. Which is to be expected.

RE: Morality: Only Subjective Or Objective?
It is an intro and I am enjoying it. I don't know that I'm a moral nihilist, though I have called myself a 'hopeful nihilist' from time to time in that I'm pretty sure that there's no point to any of this

I forget sometimes, especially with these more 'deep' thoughts in which I'm more worried about substance than style. But there you go.

RE: Morality: Only Subjective Or Objective?
Again, I agree. However, this is still the realm of perception and not a matter of objective reality. You can believe that your legitimate claims should be respected, but I have no reason to accept that

RE: Morality: Only Subjective Or Objective?
I firmly agree simply because we cannot be 'objective'. We are a part of the human experiment and so all that we sense, determine, believe, observe, is the result of our individual and shared perceptions.

RE: Violent Interventionism and the "Oppression" of Biological Limitations
Fully agreed. This seems to resonate on an idea I've been debating lately: you have no 'rights' in the sense of what we think of. They are concepts developed out of requirement resulting from the existence

I think what you fail to realize is that freedom is irrespective of society. Even with the 'state' in full swing, freedom still exists because the 'state' is nothing more than a fog that serves to obscure

RE: End The Hyphenate War: A Clarification Of Rights & Reality
The point is that you have the right to seek what you wish, to include organized association and to seek to protect what you have acquired. But there are no guarantees. There is no right to life, liberty

RE: Not Voting Is Silence & Silence Is Consent
I can be fine with this. The point is that those that wish to claim that silence is consent and, from that, not voting being a form of consent, have an obvious flaw in their logic. Silence is not necessarily
