I've become kind of infamous in other parts of Steemit for my "wall of text" comments. I do try to soft-pedal that when possible. I realize it gets overwhelming.
It's also discouraging to admit that I'm still trying to find the audience who wants to read what I want to write ... and that, ultimately, Steemit is not it. So, I am actively looking into other options. That will almost certainly be one of the major tasks of the upcoming Mercury Retrograde through my 12th House. If it weren't for a Discord group for which I have unexpected responsibility, I'd already be gone.
As far as feeling creatively fulfilled on Steemit, I have to say -- not hardly. The one good thing about the place is that I can pretty much post whatever I want -- even when it's just me talking to myself -- because nobody reads this anyway. (But I can pretty much do that on my own website anyway and get almost as much in the way of financial rewards.)
My husband and I have talked about the infamous "curation problem" on Steemit. I'm not the only one who does decent work for virtually nothing here -- not by any means. The thing is, Steemit is set up for writers and investors -- not readers. There's way, way, way too much crap on here for people who have claim to any kind of "life" to try wading through it to find "the good stuff." There's plenty of good stuff to be found, but no help whatsoever making it visible.
Add to that the fact that I don't really write for "the mainstream" with the topics I choose ... and it gets pretty discouraging. As I said earlier, I'm actively looking into other possibilities. When I find it, I'll come up with a way to juggle the job I do for the group I inherited a couple of months ago until either this place comes back to life or dies completely. I expect it will resurrect itself eventually ... but meanwhile I'd like to find something more promising. If possible. (Or at least less depressing.)
But let's talk about you now. You've got some very interesting stuff happening in your chart. With four planets in Scorpio, this last year for you -- as Jupiter made that passage -- has been particularly constructive. (Four planet in Scorpio!! I almost envy you that. Except that those get handed out to people for a reason. You aren't handed that kind of strength without a life that will require it. So while I salute the fortitude I see there ... I'll also say, at the moment, I'm glad it's yours to handle. I've been through enough in my time, TYVM.)
You are dealing intensely now with questions of "what do I want to do with my life." There has been a major shift in your ambitions, your goals for your public life ... and your professional prospects. It's time to try out some "new stuff" and focus on whether it's liable to take you to the places where you want to go. You have such an intensely public-oriented chart in the first place, all this is especially exciting for you -- if you let it have its full impact and really follow the invitations to see where they take you.
That 8th House Sun of yours however may be so intent on "staying in control" -- and so paranoid about "waiting for the other shoe to fall" whenever something major happens that you talk yourself out of enjoying all the changes. Your sweet little Libra Sun wants everything to be pleasant, and stable, and balanced and harmonious. And 50% of your chart is about dealing with upheaval and crisis. Especially now. Bless your heart. The irony of it all is amazing.
You are definitely going to have to come to terms with the role your own kind of creative and spiritual freedom have in your life. You're going through a HUGE amount of renovation there over the next several years. It's going to require you eventually to make some major adjustments with things like family, your personal history, your sense of "where you come from," and the work you feel it takes to fulfill your obligations there. You need to lean into the changes and that won't be easy. But you could provoke a serious health crisis if you don't.
The mandate for you to change into the person you need to become is the over-riding theme of your life for the next 5 - 7 years -- and it's just getting started. When it finally ends, you will present a completely different personality to the world -- and inventing that will be both challenging and fun. It's quite an agenda you've outlined for yourself in this life.
This transition into "who you're going to be when you grow up" is really the business of this entire life. I get the feeling it's the foundation for a bunch of other lives to come -- and that all this change is to prepare you for them. What you learn to handle here -- this time around -- will give you the tools and talents you need to move forward into something quite impressive. A big part of that is accepting (and welcoming!!) both the person you are as a human being -- and the spiritual presence you embody in The Grand Scheme of Things. They really are connected. And I doubt it's real comfortable. But learning to work with them together is part of your ongoing evolutionary curricula.
First things first though. Let's get this issue of professional direction / public life commitments / what you're going to do with your life (for the time being) sorted out. That piece of business is on your plate in a big way this year. All the rest of this follows on later. But you have an enormous creative / spiritual mission that you're working on how -- possibly involved with some of your own psychological healing. (Another things that's taking place in your life presently.) And you may not be mature enough to see it yet, but those things are interwoven into the same overarching theme -- like the message of your life for this time.
Your creative self and your spiritual self are inextricably united -- and sufficient freedom is necessary for them to grow properly. They will fulfill each other -- with what you allow (and help) them to become. Also, I didn't use the word "mature" a minute ago in any belittling sense. It will simply take you (and maybe the world, too) some time and seasoning to appreciate what you're constructing. That kind of distance -- and perspective -- are among the gifts of hindsight. You'll see what I mean when you get there.
