How are you, my Hive family? We've been gifted with this fantastic series of Devil May Cry, and I'm really enjoying this game thus far. It makes my weekends better. I know I don't post every day, but I'd like to. It's just that GYM and work-life balance are taxing me. Managing everything at once is difficult, but I'm trying; hehe!
Apart from that, Devil May Cry 3 has been a joy to play so far in the series, with excellent combat, graphics, and effects. As I advance farther into the story, I'm learning more combos and growing better at executing them. But I was irritated by the second stream because I lost half of my previous progress and a few portions were quite paradoxical. I never expected there would be a save game issue as we had to save the game mid-level in the previous stream and quit for the day. I think that had something to do with the issue.
As much as I love doing some stages again and again. I certainly hate it if it's forced down to my throat, I'm not a big fan of situations like this; like anything against my will. Sure I had to defeat this annoying clown again who has an unblockable projectile attack, which you really have to avoid by doing annoying dodges and it doesn't matter if you dodge through them. If they touch you physically no matter what you would lose HP. It is what it is. We defeated him once again. If the game has save issues like this, the dev should've removed the option for mid-level saves. It's kinda misleading.
But the combos man, just feels right in the place. I would agree that the loss of save file gave me another opportunity to go through same paths again, where I performed better as I progressed, chain of combos everytime. The balance of gritty and dark with perfect colors and right fighting pattern
The worst part of this playthrough was dealing with the elevator platform, I was raging so bad at a point that I almost felt like through away my controller. The design of this platform is you would have to defeat waves of enemies or toss them off from the platform before the time runs out, or you would have to start over again. Guess what I have mastered the starting over part.
The door guardian twin brothers were amazing I had to say, some fighting challenge I would always love. It's most amazing to figureout how to play a boss through trial and error. They both have fire and ice samurai style when it comes to combat. Attack patterns were easy to master but if you kill one of them and take a deep breath of relief I would warn you bro; hold your breath because the other one would make sure you are feeling just comfortable. No pun intended, he would get super aggressive and make sure this was the last day you are enjoying the game. Now I found a loophole, which is make sure they both are super low HP, and finish them of right after another. That way you can avoid the bitterness.
