It's HIVE Power Up Day, so it's time to continue my tradition of looking back at the previous month. But first... I've just powered up 100 HP, so that's done! If you're reading this before midnight UTC, power up at least 10 for a badge from @hivebuzz!

In last month's post, I mentioned possible reviews of tents, an air rifle, and Magic: The Gathering decks. None of that happened. There have been some library-related posts, though.
I got a bit theological, with one post about Christianity, and another post I copy/pasted from a Muslim. I also attempted a new idea with two posts in a "Cool Creator Spotlight" series which I do mean to continue. And maybe I'll get to those other posts I didn't write yet, too. Who knows? I shared music you probably haven't heard before. I poked at hagiographic history. I made jewelry ... twice. And wrapping everything up, I noted LEO Power Up Day and my HIVE birthday!
All told, not a lot of content, but a lot more than last month. Success?

I really have no firm plans whatsoever for September. Real life keeps throwing me curveballs, and the muses are still being fickle. I'm tired. The last four years or so have been just an accumulation of stress and I am burned out. I need to find a way to recharge that won't also add financial stress. There's a fun catch-22.
Speaking of which, banned books week is coming up in a month, and Catch-22 by Joseph Heller was subject to bans and challenges. Go read a banned book, because people who hate it probably haven't the slightest idea of its actual contents, and if it is in fact bad, at least you'll have an informed opinion. While you're at it, buy coffee for a librarian (I take mine as black and bitter as my mood) and tell the neo-puritan control freaks to pound sand.
