Today I want to share with you an outing I had with my youngest son and my husband. On this occasion, my husband and I decided to dedicate a day to our son, a day just for him. As many of you know, I have three children, two girls and a boy. I have always tried to spend time with all three of them at the same time, but sometimes, due to work or school, it hasn't been possible. Lately, however, the whole family has been focused on my middle daughter because of her high school graduation, so our outings have generally revolved around her. But thank God, she has now obtained her degree and celebrated, so in the midst of all this sharing, my son made a comment like, “I hardly ever go out with you guys, it's always my sisters”... That's when we realized that it was his turn to have some time just for himself, which was fair and necessary, so we decided to go out and buy him something he had been asking for for quite some time, but which we had postponed due to other expenses: sports shoes for playing indoor soccer. ![](https://images.ecency.com/DQmayN5HW8nR1qXrR6mMTrmTyFHKS4YNDSp9onfi35Med8h/image.png) We walked through several shopping malls until we found the right shoes that he liked. After that, we decided to have lunch together, and of course, he chose the menu. Guess who? Our son asked for one of his favorite pizzas and one of his favorite natural juices, strawberry, and of course, he couldn't miss out on dessert, a delicious quesillo. We all ate happily, enjoying this day with him. We stayed for a long time because it started to rain, so we were grateful for the roof over our heads. While we were sharing, during the meal we took the opportunity to talk about a little bit of everything, but especially about him. It was clear that he was happy with the attention we were giving him, and the truth is that we needed it too, because every now and then it's good to go out with our children one at a time, without any distractions, just to enjoy their company. Now I have to look at him at eye level. He is already 13 years old, a teenager, and we definitely have to enjoy him. Like some teenagers, he's not very fond of photographs, but on this occasion he posed relaxed and happy, also taking into account what I told him: Someday you'll thank me for the photos I took of you during this time, because they will become treasures for you, your family, and yourself. He thought about it and agreed with me. For my part, here I am saving and sharing my treasures in this beautiful community, because every post about my children is part of my legacy to them, so that they will remember and know how their mother sees them. En esta ocasión, mi esposo y yo decidimos dedicarle un día a nuestro hijo, un día solamente para él. Como muchos ya saben tengo 3 hijos dos hembras y el varón; siempre he tratado de compartir con los 3 al mismo tiempo, pero a veces, por motivos de trabajo, estudio no se ha logrado; pero últimamente nos habíamos dedicado la familia en pleno a mi hija la de en medio, por su graduación de bachiller, así que las salidas generalmente giraban en torno a ella. Pero ya gracias a Dios, ya obtuvo su título y posterior celebración, entonces entre esos compartir, mi hijo nos dejó caer un comentario como: "yo casi no salgo con ustedes, todo son mis hermanas"... ahí caímos en cuenta, que le tocaba a él, un espacio solo para él, que era justo y necesario, así que decidimos salir a comprarle algo, que nos estaba pidiendo de hace bastante tiempo y que por otros gastos, habíamos pospuesto y era comprarle sus zapatos deportivos para practicar futbol sala. Caminamos por varios centros comerciales hasta que conseguimos el zapato idóneo, que le gustara a él. Luego de esto, decidimos almorzar juntos y, por supuesto, quién escogió el menú. ¿Adivinen, quién fue?, nuestro hijo y nos pidió una de sus pizzas favoritas y para tomar uno de sus jugos naturales preferidos, el de fresa, y por supuesto no podía faltar su postre, un rico quesillo. Todos comimos muy contentos de estar compartiendo este día con él; estuvimos por un buen rato, porque aparte empezó a llover, así que agradecimos el techo donde estábamos. Mientras compartíamos, durante la comida aprovechamos de hablar de todo un poco, pero sobre todo las cosas de él, se vio que se sentía contento por esta atención de parte de nosotros y la verdad a nosotros también nos hacía falta, porque de vez en cuando es bueno salir con nuestros hijos con uno a la vez, sin más distracciones, solo el poder disfrutar de la compañía de ellos. Por otro lado, ellos se sienten más dispuestos a compartir con nosotros sus pensamientos, opiniones, porque sienten mayor conexión en estas salidas, solo con ellos, y eso es muy importante. Aparte, mientras lo veía comer una de sus comidas preferidas, detalle que está más alto que yo, que ya no es ese bebé de ojos vivaces, que me miraba desde abajo. Ahora tengo que mirar al mismo nivel, que ya son 13 años, ya es todo un adolescente y que, definitivamente, hay que disfrutarlo. Él, como algunos adolescentes, no es muy amante de las fotografías, pero en esta ocasión posó relajado y feliz, también teniendo en cuenta lo que yo le dije: Algún día me agradecerás las fotos que te tomé en este tiempo, porque llegarán a ser tesoros para ti, de tu familia y de ti mismo. Se puso a reflexionar y me dio la razón. Por mi parte, aquí estoy guardando y compartiendo mis tesoros en esta bella comunidad, porque cada publicación de mis hijos, es parte de mi legado para ellos, para que se recuerden y sepan cómo mamá los mira.
